Edyta Sasin

I am a Research Scientist at New York University Abu Dhabi, exploring how the brain processes, remembers and forgets information. I find joy in the creative process of generating new ideas and solving research problems. I also enjoy teaching students psychological concepts and scientific skills and sharing knowledge with a broader community.

My primary research aims to understand the bidirectional relationship between memory and attention, mechanisms for controlling remembering and forgetting, and the hierarchy of processing perceptual and semantic attributes in perception and memory. I also collaborate on projects related to social behavior.
